Obligatory boom boom shots









































Happy 4th of July (belated) all.

Grabbed the Nikon last night and went down to the lake to shoot some fireworks... some of the folks who live down by the lake had a pretty impressive amateur show, considering that fireworks are illegal to buy here in NY.

Things for Sale

I was out and about in Herkimer Co. (NY) today, and I happened upon this scene:

the old Jimmy was in surprisingly good shape:













The tub seemed to me that it was reaching for the sky... perhaps trying to fly?

New start on the old blog, again...

With the new year, comes a new start photographically.

I'm going to try and post 2 or more times per week. I'll be shooting at least one artistic image per day using my newest tool. Nikon D300S with an 18-200mm lens. Here are tonight's images:

























The snow was flying tonight, giving the lights all halos.
